Rick began his career in Law enforcement in 1975 where he started as a reserve with Ft. worth Police Dept. Later Rick went full time with WestWorth Police Dept patrol division where he obtained the rank of patrol Sergeant. For the last 13yrs he has been with Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office where he is currently a Patrol Sergeant and the Team leader for the Tarrant County hostage / crisis negotiations team. He has a master Peace officer License, Tcleose instructor license, and is a standardize field sobriety practitioner. Rick has been a member of TAHN and Tarrant County Negotiations team for the last 6 yrs. He is the past president of the Burleson Masonic lodge and the past president of Springtown Spurs Riding club. Rick is a current member of the United states Team Roping Association and Senior Team Roping association.
